Neutral efficacy tests.
The precondition for the approval of products under the European Biocidal Products Directive is proof of their sufficient efficacy. For a better overview, both the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the German Association for Applied Hygiene (Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene e.V. (VAH)) maintain lists of tested and approved disinfection procedures. For inclusion in these lists as well as for the general efficacy test, we offer tests according to valid European standards as well as according to the standardised methods of VAH.
Among other things, our laboratory tests are used to test and evaluate disinfecting washing procedures and disinfectants for industry and households, whereby different requirements and specifications must be observed.
In Hohenstein we have microbiological laboratories and test procedures as well as the necessary know-how to carry out tests of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics or to provide evidence of their efficacy, for example according to DIN EN 13727. Hohenstein is accredited for the required microbiological investigations and offers differentiated tests for bacteria, moulds and yeasts.
